We at Gargash Insurance Services are looking for a seasoned Business Development Lead to manage our Business Development Team for our Sharjah branch. If you are a results-driven leader with a strong track record in sales and business development within the insurance sector in UAE, we would be pleased to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Business Development Team, driving revenue growth and exceeding annual budgets.
  • Identify, attract, and onboard candidates with strong portfolios for business expansion.
  • Strategize and implement plans to ensure sustainable revenue growth and enhanced market presence.
  • Establish and monitor annual sales targets for the team, motivating them to achieve and surpass these benchmarks.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports, including budget vs. actual performance, for senior management review.
  • Oversee credit control and risk management processes for the business development unit.
  • Conduct regular sales training sessions and offer innovative market solutions for team success.
  • Develop market-specific products and services, ensuring competitive differentiation and business penetration.
  • Build enduring partnerships with key insurers and establish a symbiotic relationship with clients, delivering top-tier service.
  • Analyze market trends, providing insights and actionable recommendations to stay ahead of industry dynamics.
  • Support the underwriting team in resolving day-to-day matters and maintaining seamless operations.
  • Engage in client visits alongside sales representatives, fostering relationships and securing new business.

Job Specifications / Requirements:

  • Qualification: Post-Graduation; AIII or Dip CII preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in Techno Marketing, specifically in Motor, Non-Motor and Medical Insurance with at least 8 years in the UAE market within an insurance company or in insurance broking firm.
  • Industry Exposure: Proven expertise within the UAE Insurance Sector.
  • Skills: Sales exposure, Client Management, Team handling, Problem Solving, Decision Making and Negotiation
  • Work Location: Sharjah, UAE.
