To apply for a UAE driving license, follow these steps:

• ·    Attend driving classes: Enroll in a certified driving school and complete the required theory and practical driving classes.
• ·       Obtain a learner's permit: Pass the theory test and receive a learner's permit, allowing you to practice driving under the supervision of a licensed instructor.
• ·       Practice driving: Attend practical training sessions and gain experience behind the wheel.
• ·       Schedule the final road test: Once you feel confident in your driving skills, book the final road test with the driving school.
• ·      Pass the road test: Demonstrate your driving abilities during the final road test conducted by the driving school or the relevant traffic authority.
• ·    Submit required documents: Once you pass the road test, submit the required documents, including passport copies, visa, Emirates ID, eye test report, and other necessary forms, to the traffic authority.
• ·       Pay the license fee: Pay the applicable fee for the driving license issuance.
• ·  Receive your UAE driving license: After completing the necessary steps and fulfilling all requirements, you will be issued a UAE driving license.

Residents from select countries are not required to undertake a driving test to get their license and can instead exchange their home country license for a UAE license.
