• Get Your Vehicle Out of the Road: It’s better to clear the roadway if possible. Pull your car over to the shoulder if you can so that it's out of the way of approaching vehicles and it will not create traffic. If an accident happens at night, turn on your car's hazard lights so that other cars can see you. And if you can't move your vehicle, get yourself and anyone else involved in the accident to a safe spot away from the road

Wait for the advice from the police and arrange the police report either by visiting any of the nearby police station/ Traffic Department or registering the accident details online.
• File insurance claim: Once you have the police report contact your car insurance provider and inform about the car accident and provide them with the police report vehicle registration card copy and the driving license copy. Inform them your preferred repair center or preferred location.
• Drop the vehicle to designated repair center: Once you have notified the car insurance provider and they have allotted you a repair center, drop the vehicle at the allotted repair center and get the vehicle repaired.
